Troops martyr three Kashmiri youth in Baramulla

Srinagar, July 25 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, IMG_7358-2Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three youth during violent military operations in Baramulla district.

Personnel of 3 Dogra Regiment killed the youth at Kundari in Uri area of the district. The Indian authorities said that a thorough search operation was going on in the area.

Senior APHC leader, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi talking to media in Srinagar said that some forces and elements in pursuit of their vested interests were conspiring to weaken liberation movement through fomenting sectarian strife in the territory.

The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, for the second consecutive day today, held peace marches in various areas of Badgam. He was accompanied by party activists, who called upon people to restore religious harmony and mutual brotherhood.

Other Hurriyet leaders including Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, Ghulam Nabi Sumjhi, Abdul Ahad Para, Muhammad Shafi Reshi, Muhammad Yousuf Nadeem, Maulvi Bashir Ahmad, Ghulam Muhammad Khan Soproi and Muhammad Shafi Lone separately visited Badgam. They appealed people to put an immediate end to infighting as it went against the teachings of Islam and the spirit of freedom struggle.

The authorities arrested senior APHC leader, Musaddiq Aadil along with a delegation in Ramban to prevent him from proceeding towards Gool to express solidarity with the families of those, who were recently martyred by Indian troops in the area. The other members of the delegation included Hakeem Abdur Rasheed, Farooq Mamoos and Abdul Majeed.

An Indian trooper committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at Chatta Army Cantonment in Jammu, today. This incident raised the number of such deaths among the Indian troops and police personnel in the occupied territory to 280 since January 2007.
