75,000 families figure in blacklist in IOK

Srinagar, January 11 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, around 75,000 families have been put in blacklist for passports.

A Mumbai-based daily, DNA) has reported that the families have been indexed in security risk list and are denied clearance from police department, which blocks their access to peaceful life, employment and travel plans.

It said that indexing by Indian agencies had affected 400,000 people mostly youth who could not get government jobs, travel documents or any facility that required police verification.

The newspaper said that these families had been blacklisted for their links with the Hurriyet leaders and the ongoing liberation movement in the occupied territory.
